I’m not sure if I should be happy or sad that my first & only truly romantic gesture was from someone who I wasn’t even dating. I’m happy that he did that for me & grateful for the wonderful memory but sad to think that no one I have dated has ever done anything closely remote to what he has.

While I was driving home tonight I saw a shooting star. I paused for a second & made a wish. I’m really hoping this wish comes true. I can’t remember when the last time I wanted something so bad… But I also know I can’t completely leave it up to faith. If I want it I need to put effort into it too.
